Atheists Day

With the approach of the atheists national holiday I thought you might find these figures interesting.

Here in America Christians have to fight to hold on to every right that our country was founded on.

The facts listed on this link are staggering, 3-9% of our population are atheists or agnostics.

How do they get such a large voice in policies and restrict our freedoms when 91% or higher belive in God?

Because the majority (believers in God) do or say nothing.

We say nothing, do nothing and care little until it is to late.

It is a shame. James sums up Jesus words when he says "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."Jam 1:22

We are hearers and not doers.

Brooklyn Bridge Houses Cold War Supplies

It is pretty neat to find something that you hid and forgot you did.

I think they will find it was hidden there for some elite people or some city official hid it for themselves or surly they would have known it was there.

Was it in a secret room or just one nobody went in?

Whenever I think I might find something like this it turns out to be like Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone's vault.

I wonder if you will be able to rent one for jobs around the house?

I can think of several times one of these would have come in handy.

Dinosaurs Don't Have Feathers

Evolutionists found a dinosaur that they thought should have feathers.

Their thinking is that the dinosaurs became birds and flew away (see Jurassic Park).


The biggest and heaviest animals became some of the smallest a light weight animals! Good theory.

Anyway here are some of their excuses for this dinosaur not having any feathers.

"There are a number of possible explanations for Juravenator's nakedness. Feathers could have been lost on the evolutionary line leading to Juravenator after arising in an ancestor to both it and its feathered relatives.

It is also possible that this particular fossil of Juravenator, which appears to be a juvenile, only grew feathers as an adult or lost its feathers for part of the year.

It is entirely possible that Juravenator did have feathers, but they simply failed to fossilize.

Whether or not the new specimen raises interesting questions about how feathers -- and thus birds -- evolved, most experts do not see it as a challenge to the widely accepted view that modern birds are descended from dinosaurs."

I know maybe dinosaurs didn't become birds, birds are a different kind than dinosaurs (four footed beasts).
They start out with the faulty presumptions that we all come from a rock that was rained on for millions of years and have to have common ancestor.

Well once again evolution is startlingly let down by the fossil record.

Noah's Ark

Satellites are zooming in on what some think is Noah's ark.

Porcher Taylor, an associate professor in paralegal studies at the University of Richmond's School of Continuing Studies in Virginia, said "I maintain that if it is the remains of something manmade and potentially nautical, then it's potentially something of biblical proportions."

Hairy Lobster Found

"A team of American-led divers has discovered a new crustacean in the South Pacific that resembles a lobster and is covered with what looks like silky, blond fur.



Scientists said the animal, which they named Kiwa hirsuta, was so distinct from other species that they created a new family and genus for it.

The divers found the animal in waters 7,540 feet deep at a site 900 miles south of Easter Island last year."

I love that we are still finding new things.

The desire to discover is a gift God gives to all of us, to draw all men to himself, and it fascinates me.

New Shark Found

Just when you think science knows everything, at least thats what they tell us, something new comes along.


The thing is this is not the first post I have had on a new creature being found.

Is this evolution?

An extra leg, isn't this what evolutionists are looking for?

Do you think this cow runs faster than other cows making it harder for the rancher to catch and sell, evolving?

No, we call this sort of thing a deformity. Notice my above quote says "and is in otherwise good physical condition", implying this extra leg and hoof is more likely a detriment to it than a help.

Evolution is looking for new information to be added. The information for a leg and hoof are already in its DNA it just made extra, no new information just mixed up information.

Apparently the first frogs to reach the town of Darwin have longer legs than the slower ones.

This is not evolution its micro evolution also know as change within a species.

Evolutionist are always citing changes within a species (micro evolution) as evolution or macro evolution.

Its the old bait and switch tactic. Cite a variance or change within a species as evolution so we will swallow the lie the frogs become birds.

It can have longer legs, jump farther, turn its eyes blue, and get super webs between its toes all of which are variances of what it has always had.

When it grows wings and begins to fly - Some "new information" thats darwinian evolution.

A frog with longer legs is still a frog. Thats not evolution.

Earliest Christian Church Discovered

-- The New York Times reported Nov. 7 that prisoners digging foundations for the expansion of Megiddo Prison north of Jerusalem in the Valley of Armageddon uncovered ruins of what might be the earliest Christian church discovered in the Holy Land.

Intricate mosaics dating to the third century A.D. bear inscriptions in Greek. The Israel Antiquities Authority has preliminarily rendered the translation of one inscription as reading, “The God-loving Aketous has offered this table to the God Jesus Christ, as a memorial.”

This is evidence that Jesus as God, is no legend that evolved over long periods of time. There is no time for it to happen. This dates back to when people where alive who saw Jesus and could have refuted this claim of Jesus being God but they didn't.

New Tomb Found

A new intact tomb was found in Egypt's valley of the kings.

The article says they thought they had found all the tombs in the valley of the kings but I believe the Bible implies there is plenty of treasure not yet found.

Dan 11:43 But he (Antichrist) shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt:

The antichrist has not yet arrived and it seems to me little of Egypt's gold is still in Egypt. So I think they will find more fantastic finds in the future.

We will have to wait and see.

Garden of Eden

AUSAUSTRALIAN and other scientists have found a "lost world" in a remote Indonesian mountain jungle.

The tract of remote forest is home to exotic species of birds, butterflies, frogs and plants as well as mammals unafraid of humans, whom they have never seen.

"It's as close to the Garden of Eden as you're going to find on Earth," said Bruce Beehler, co-leader of the US, Indonesian and Australian expedition to part of the cloud-shrouded Foja mountains in the province of Papua that covers the western half of Papua New Guinea.

I wonder if they will tell us if they find any dinosaurs or any things that were supposed to evolved higher forms?
Still it is pretty cool that they could find some place like that today.
There is still much that we do not know about our planet.

MTek Helmet

A guy from my town has developed an attachment for our soldiers helmets.

Not only does it protect their face but it it also is very cool looking. Storm-trooper helmets for today.

This has to help your confidence knowing your head is protected and you look terrifying.

Imagine if the guys in "Black-hawk Down" had these on while driving through the streets, now where near as vulnerable.

Be sure to watch the video where they blast it form 1 meter away with a 44 magnum, very strong and light weight.

Pontius Pilate Found

Here is another archeological discovery that proves the Bible is accurate and trustworthy.

"It wasn't long ago when many scholars were questioning the actual existence of a Roman Governor with the name Pontius Pilate, the procurator who ordered Jesus' crucifixion. In June 1961 Italian archaeologists led by Dr. Frova were excavating an ancient Roman amphitheatre near Caesarea-on-the-Sea (Maritima) and uncovered this interesting limestone block. On the face is a monumental inscription which is part of a larger dedication to Tiberius Caesar which clearly says that it was from "Pontius Pilate, Prefect of Judea."

"The Bible clearly mentions Pontius Pilate as the Roman procurator of Judea at the time of Jesus Christ. Since this dedication stone found in Caesarea Maritima was the first inscription mentioning his actual name, and that he indeed was the Roman procurator who had made his official residence in Caesarea, the discovery of The Pilate Inscription is a monumental discovery that verifies again that the Bible is a Book of history."

The evidence of archaeology helps to give us:

1 Confidence that the places and people mentioned in the Bible are accurate, even though those places and people existed thousands of years in the past.

2 Confidence that the details of the Biblical accounts have not changed over the centuries since it was written as we have a "fixed fact" in history.

3 Confidence that everything that the Lord speaks will be fulfilled in its time.

Goliath of Gath

Archeologists have found an inscriptions that again proves the Bible to be accurate in its history.

Written in archaic "Proto-Canaanite" letters, the inscription found on the
sherd, dating to the 10th or early 9th century BCE, contains two non-Semitic
names: Alwt and Wlt.

"It can be suggested that in 10th-9th century Philistine Gath, names quite
similar, and possibly identical, to Goliath were in use," says Prof. Maeir.
"This chronological context from which the inscription was found is only
about 100 years after the time of David according to the standard biblical
chronology.

Thus, this appears to provide evidence that the biblical story of Goliath is, in fact, based on a clear cultural realia from, more or less, the time which is depicted in the biblical text, and recent attempts to claim that Goliath can only be understood in the context of later phases of the Iron Age are unwarranted."

"This inscription supports the Bible, not with a direct identification of Goliath, but in its historical and linguistic background," Mykytiuk said.

Just as Sir William Ramsey found out, the more you test the Bible the more it proves itself.

Team to Track "Bigfoot"

A southern Malaysian state will appoint a team of scientists and experts to hunt for a "Bigfoot" beast after the reported sighting of three giant human-like creatures.

Malaysian media have been gripped by Bigfoot fever since November 2005, when fish farm workers reported seeing three giant human-like hairy beasts at the edge of the Endau Rompin reserve. They also claimed to have seen a gigantic footprint which they photographed.

Wildlife officials said they may set up camera traps in the jungle to capture images of the creature.

A friend of mine set up one of these camera traps to hopefully take pictures of deer in his yard. After a few days he checked the camera and was surprised that the roll of film was full so soon. With great anticipation he picked up his developed pictures to see......36 pictures of him mowing grass!

I hope their search goes better than my friends. Link

10 Commandments

Did they find a condensed version of The Ten Commandments in Newark, Ohio?

The picture at the right is of the "Decalogue" that David Wyrick found in November of 1860.

If it is true, I do not think it's from the lost tribe of Israel, but maybe a true seeker in wild America wanted to know about the true God of creation and a missionary came to tell them.

It happens elsewhere so why not here and why not then?

Matt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matt 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

I think God would stop at noting to get the truth to a sincere seeker.

Genesis In Chinese Language

The Chinese characters that form their words are very interesting when broken down.

After the definition of the character is explained it seems to make more sense than the scratches I perceived them to be. I feel I could almost read it. (yeah right)

The words defined here do seem to have there meaning drawn from Genesis. Everyone has a common history. We all descend from Noah and were divided at the tower of Babel. So no matter how far through time we have progressed the traces of our heritage are there.

Words defined here are boat, devil, covet and forbidden.

Iris Scanning

"When a parent arrives to pick up her child at one of three grade schools in the Freehold Borough School District, she'll need to look into a camera that will take a digital image of her iris. That photo will establish positive identification to gain entrance into the school."

With terrorism, missing children, and just plain craziness in the world, security is getting tighter and tighter. Again as I stated in this post, I do not think this is the mark of the beast but it sure seems we are steadily marching towards it.

And as the end of this article reports the world is banking on the march continuing.

"Global biometric revenues are projected to grow from $2.1 billion in 2006 to $5.7 billion in 2010, according International Biometric Group. Iris scanning is emerging, albeit slowly. The research firm said iris recognition revenues are expected to exceed $250 million by 2008."

They are written by Jack Chick and you can view his tracks online. The link at the bottom takes you to the most popular one of his tracts and the one that spoke to me.

If you google "Jack Chick" it is interesting to see how many hates sites there are against him and his ministry.
The devil hates the effective witness.

It seems many despise him yet collect his work though. Hate him yet drawn to it. Interesting.

Old tracts are even bought and sold on ebay as collector items.
I do have favorites of his that I find myself holding on to (Like "The Beast") but then I feel guilty for hanging on to the life saving Gospel and seek to give it away.

Eye

This is a must see site.

It explains and then demonstrates that we have a huge blind spot in our field of vision.

It sounds hard to believe but after doing the experiments I am amazed and convinced.

We do not see the hole because our brain fills in the missing information, completing what we should be seeing, including complex patterns.

The eye is amazing and hard for blind chance to explain anyway. Now it has just gotten harder for them to do so.

As the Bible puts it we are truly "fearfully [and] wonderfully made"(Psa 139:14 ).

Dinosaurs fighting

This is a fossil of two dinosaurs fighting that was found in Mongolia, 1971.
It was on display at the American Museum of Natural History, the exhibit closed but they still have information about it to view on the web.

Here is a quote.

"Apparently locked in combat, these two fighting dinosaurs were remarkably preserved in this action pose some 80 million years ago.

Velociraptor was a fierce carnivore that hunted prey animals, such as the plant-eating Protoceratops.
Here, the Velociraptor has embedded its deadly foot claw into the neck of the crouching Protoceratops, near the region that housed the blood supply for the head.
In turn, the Protoceratops appears to have bitten and broken the right arm of the Velociraptor, whose left hand grips the head of the Protoceratops.

A sudden sand flow may have quickly buried these foes, capturing them in this fighting position."

I find it interesting that they realize it had to be "quickly buried" to catch them in the fighting position.

What about the rest of the fossils around the world?

Wouldn't they need to be quickly buried to be fossilized?

When they slaughtered the buffalo out west, killings hundreds if not thousands of them and left them lying around, did they fossilize?

Fish are found in rocks every where around the world. How long do fish last, laying dead on the beach before they are eaten or rot away? Not very long yet we have fossils of them.

I think the evidence points to a global flood, burying things all over the world very quickly making the fossils we find today.

This is a real photo not a photoshopped image.

Cy is a kitten born with only one eye and no nose, this photo is provided by its owner in Redmond, Oregon. The kitten, a ragdoll breed, which died after living for one day, was one of two in the litter. Its sibling was born normal and healthy.

As you saw the photo, what did you think? You might have thought weird, fake or creepy but after reading that the cat was real, sad is the thought that crosses our minds.

Mutations are what evolution is built upon yet the mutated die early or struggle to survive. They certainly are not the fittest. The hopeful monster (punctuated equilibrium) of evolution isn't so hopeful when actually viewed. In this case it is a loss of information.

At the state fair I saw a five legged cow but he couldn't run faster. The four winged duck could fly art all. All of these did not have new information but only repeated what information it had (with crippling results).

As we examine the evidence, does the mutations of evolution point us upward and onward as the evolutionary theory claims?

A German inventor has a phone on the market for calling the dead.

"This is a way for relatives coping with the grief of losing a loved one to convey their feelings to the departed. The "Phone Angel," a long-life battery powered cell phone device, allows those in mourning to have contact with the deceased when personal pain, distance or disability prevents them from attending the final resting place."

It goes on to say...

People know there is life after death and it is something we know and not just something we are taught.
People also know and want relationships that we have now to continue in the future.
To bad people fill this void, that God has given them and uses to draw people to Himself, with silliness.

The evidence written on our hearts tells us that life and relationships continue.
The Bible tells us that the way to have everlasting life and continue relationships is to come to the Savior, Jesus Christ, and ask Him to be your personal Saviour.

If I lost track of one of my kids I would do what ever it took to find them but I do think we are being desensitized.

I just think I see it leading to chipping your kids at infancy and then they have zero privacy their whole life. Some may think this is all well and good but knowing what the Bible says about the mark of the beast and buying and selling I think we are seriously laying the ground work for the antichrist.

Think about it.

The Bible says people will worship him as god. Today we are laying the foundation for his fake omnipotence.

In the future people who don't even know they are chipped or tracked being told where they were and what they bought, a fake Christ indeed.

Jesus demonstrated His Godhood with prophecies and ability to tell people things only God could know (Think woman at the well and Nathan).

Now Satan and his man could fake this and maybe deceive even the elect.

If they wanted to they could follow me home most days with just watching my debit transactions because I cant pass a gas station with gas $2.50 a gallon.

We need to proceed with caution and with our eyes wide open.
For boys sake I hope it comes in more colors than pink.

Dinosaurs lived 800 years ago?

Bigfoot #2

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Authorities began searching the jungles of southern Malaysia for the mythical "Bigfoot" after a reported sighting of three giant human-like beasts, officials said.

They have set up a bunch of cameras to try to catch them on film. Like they mentioned at this link.
They claim to have seen two adults and a young one. They reportedly have a picture of a 17 inch foot print.

A broken tree limb near by gave them the indication that the creatures are around 10 feet tall.

The animation is a frame by frame "stabilized" version of the Patterson-Bigfoot footage.
I like how Mr. Davis leaves the previous frame visible so you can see how much the camera jerked around while he has centered Bigfoot.

I do not know if Bigfoot is real or not but I like to think maybe they are out there, just to spite the scientific know it alls who think they have everything all figured out.

My wife's Uncle tells this story as true.

A coworker of his lived in southern Indiana next to a big state forest. One day while walking through the woods he came across corn stalks jammed altogether in a tree. Finding this curious, being so deep in the woods and not next to a stream, he began to pull the stalks out of the tree. He says he perceived it to be some sort of nest or something but thought little of it until the next morning.

The next morning he found several good sized trees had been pulled up from the yard, roots and all, and piled on his porch.
Bigfoot type tracks were found about the property as well. The man says he got the message loud and clear. "Don't mess with my house and I won't mess with yours".

Cat Calls 911

I like stories like these, where an animal helps out a human in some miraculous way.

I have heard stories where a child is lost in the forest and was kept warm at night by a deer or something lying beside them.

This story is about a cat dialing 911 for his owner.

If it were one of my cats they would be the reason for my dire straights. Tripping me down the stairs, accidently knocking a radio into the tub or some other playfully innocent thing like that.
