Batman 1977

Sure I was 12 years old but I would anxiously await the new Saturday morning cartoons to start each fall.
The promo would get me hooked and I would count down the days until the promised shows would air.
I would get up early that weekend and await t.v. to start broadcasting. Static, the national anthem and then it was go time.
Cheerios on the couch until Dad got up and said "Enough t.v. go out side and play!" and that was probably 10:00 a.m..
Fond, fond memories.

I never much cared for BatMite though.

People try to tell me heros aren't true.

Here are 10 real life heros alive and well in america.

Baby Mammoth

Here is a Reuters video about a baby mammoth.

Quote: "July. 10 - The remains of a baby mammoth which died 10,000 years ago in the ice age have been found in Siberia."

How do they know it was 10,000 years ago?

Did the mammoth have dated coins in its pocket? Or a dated certificate of death around its neck?

They are guessing. I just wish they would say they were guessing instead of stating things like they were fact.

Batman Hoodie

Here is a Batman hoodie I would love to have.

But with the price tag of $439.00 I think I'll pass.

Batman!

Here is the first glimpse of the new Batman costume.

Quote "Ever wonder why movie Batmans rarely turn their horned heads? It's because the cowls of past suits were firmly attached to the neck and shoulders of the costume — necessary to maintain that iconic silhouette and to prevent the actor from moving around inside the mask. The new headpiece — modeled after a motorcycle helmet — is separate from the neck, so star Christian Bale can now swivel his noggin side to side, or nod up and down."

Glad to hear a report on the new movie but sad to hear that it is not set to be released until july 18th . . . . . . . . 2008. :0(

Creation Museum #1

My family and I had the privilege to be at the grand opening of the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum.

It was quite the occasion and we are so glad we went.

There were around 4,0o0 in attendance that day but we were glad for the crowd.

Here is a copy of the program you receive before beginning your tour.

You should be able to click on the pictures for a larger view.

This should give you some idea of how big this museum is but you still won't believe it until you see it.

More posts to come.....

Not Feeling Well

I haven't been feeling the greatest this week.

So I started counting my blessings.

I thought I am not alergic to bee stings.

Some people are.

Free Cat

I am sorry but this made me laugh.

Clever Art

This is clever art. The artist cuts pictures out of books then photographs them.

I liked all of them but I had to narrow my choices to display hear. Here are two that stood out to me.

Rain Forest Found

"A giant fossilized rain forest has been unearthed in an eastern Illinois coal mine near the town of Danville."

The story says an earthquake dropped this "rain Forest" and covered it with mud.

Where is the evidence of this earthquake, where did all the mud come from, and what placed all the vegetation on top of it that later became coal?

Noah's flood!!! That's where it came from.

I wish science would be scientific and follow the clues to the answers. Sadly they have things already placed in their mind that they cannot allow and this limits what their conclusions can be. Thats not science.

This is more evidence that the Bible is true. The world was different before the flood (rain forest's in Illinois, giant bugs and huge plants).

Follow the evidence. We were created there is a Creato, get right with Him.

Truthful Comic Book Ad

I always enjoyed my sea monkeys but maybe because I had a short attention span.

I do remember being disappointed that they did'nt look like the family on the box.

Live and learn.
