Christmas Cards for the ACLU

I got this in my E-mail and thought it was a great idea.

Here's the plan as I received it.

"Hey, wanna have some fun this Christmas? Send the ACLU a Christmas Card!!! As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad little world.

Here' the address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's not the Christian Way ya know?)

ACLU
125 BROAD ST

18TH FLOOR

NEW YORK, NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. (Put "contribution enclosed" on the envelope and inside contribute a bible verse!!) So spend 37 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone."

Of course I can't do this until I mail my other cards that my wife gave me to mail earlier this week. (Sorry!) But as soon as I do I think the ACLU will get the most Christian card I can find.

This is a tremendous idea. How could we forget our "friends" at the ACLU at this time of year? Maybe I'll have each of my four kids create a nice "Merry CHRISTmas" card for them. Now surely they wouldn't throw away cards that were handmade by kids, would they?

Don't bet on it!
